LENT AT WASHINGTON MEMORIAL CHAPEL

LENT AT WASHINGTON MEMORIAL CHAPEL:

Each Wednesday morning during Lent we will gather at 11:00 AM for a read Eucharist Service that will take place in the choir section of the Chapel.  One of our priests will lead the service that will anticipate the theme of the evening Lenten Vespers.

On Wednesdays we will again have Lenten Vespers 7:00 PM.  Our theme will be ~ LET NO ONE DESPISE YOUR YOUTH: Fresh Voices in the Church.  Each evening will provide a contemplative worship experience with hymns, Scripture, and prayer.  A guest preacher from the ranks of young leaders in a variety of traditions will enhance our worship with a meditation based on one of the Jesus’ Hallmark Teachings.
