LETTER FROM OUR RECTOR’S WARDEN

“Be strong and take heart, all you who hope in the Lord.”
(Psalm 31:24)

Good day to all,

As your Rector’s Warden, I meet each Wednesday night on a conference call with the Vestry, the Staff, and Father Michael Knight since we closed the Chapel due to Covid-19.

Currently, the Staff, the Vestry, and the Bishop’s office are reviewing all requirements necessary to reopen the campus in the foreseeable future.

There are many things needed to be done to provide for everyone’s safety.

I need to thank all of our Congregation who continue to send their tithes and offerings each week to:

Washington Memorial Chapel
PO. Box #98
Valley Forge, PA 19481-0098

It is through this continued support that we are able to continue to operate.

We need to thank the Search Committee and our Vestry for working together to get the required paperwork and Parish Profile to Canon Arlette Benoit Joseph.

We are now live on the Diocese’s web page searching for a Full Time Rector for Washington Memorial Chapel.

Each day I pray our dedicated staff and our volunteer Vestry members continue to work together in these uncertain times. Washington Memorial Chapel will continue to be a guiding light in the middle of Valley Forge National Park and the world.

Thank you all,
Stan Sarnocinski, Jr.
Rector’s Warden
