On Thanksgiving Day at 10:30 AM, we will honor a long-standing Scottish American tradition as we gather for the Kirkin O’ The Tartans – a Blessing of the Tartans.  The service is a celebration of Scottish heritage and a chance to remember the important role of  the Church of Scotland at the time of the formation of the Episcopal Church in the United States. The Scottish consecrated the first American Bishop Samuel Seabury.

This year we are happy to welcome our new Rector, Father Tommy Thompson!  The Kirkin will be his first service with us!  There will be one bagpiper from the Valley Forge Highland Band who will help us celebrate as they play the inspiring music of Scotland outside of the Chapel.
