The Sacrament of Confirmation & Membership at Washington Memorial Chapel

Most people will fit in one of the following scenarios:

If you have already been confirmed in the Roman Catholic Church or Eastern Orthodox Church and want to be a member here, you simply need to be “received into the fellowship of this communion,” as we acknowledge the confirmations in these traditions to be in apostolic succession, and so you do not need to be “re-confirmed,” but simply received.

If you are an Episcopalian and want to be a member of this parish, you simply email our Communications Coordinator and let her know that you desire to transfer your membership here.
