One Heart & One Mind
Our One Heart & One Mind capital campaign is currently underway. The three pillars of our campaign are Preservation, Education, and Growth. For this campaign, our goal is 5.5 million dollars. Thus far we have raised an estimated total of 1.4 million (raised mostly from inside our congregation). Thus far, because of the generous and sacrificial donations from our congregation and friends of the Chapel, we have been able to completely seal the envelope of the Chapel and have restored 11 of the 13 windows with one more scheduled for completion in the coming months.
Our current priorities are Patriots Hall and the Cloister of the Colonies. We are currently working with our architects and interior designer and are excited about the new design of Patriots Hall which will be a perfect conference, lecture, retreat, and reception space for years to come for our Chapel, our friends, and the wider community. To see the design of the space, CLICK HERE. We will start phase one of the project in the coming months, which is to construct ADA bathrooms in the hallway of Patriots Hall. We also envision a catering kitchen in the future.
The Cloister of the Colonies is one of the most popular spots on our campus. Guests come from all over the world to adore the beauty of the space and many take their wedding, prom, and other special event photos in this photogenic spot. There are 13 bays (and no two bays are alike) representing the 13 colonies that ratified the constitution. The cost to restore the wear and tear over the years will be in the neighborhood of 1.5 million.
