Veterans Day Choral Matins

This Veterans Day, join us for a Choral Matins service honoring two Military Nurses.

On November 11th at 11 a.m., we honor, remember, and celebrate veterans from all wars for their willingness to serve, love of country and express gratitude for their sacrifices in protecting our freedoms.

The service will feature a conversation between May Tiger and Carol Mellom. May Tiger served as a British Army Nurse during WWII; and Carol Mellom served as an Air Force Nurse during Desert Shield and Iraqi Freedom. The Rt. Rev’d Daniel G.P. Gutiérrez will be in attendance.

Though these remarkable women served in different eras of conflict, we hope you will gain insight into the evolving role of miliary nurses and the challenges they faced by hearing their inspiring personal stories and experiences.
