VETERANS WALL OF HONOR
It is said that Valley Forge is the birthplace of the American soldier.
Washington Memorial Chapel is proud to offer all American families the opportunity to have their veterans permanently remembered and honored at Valley Forge.
A FITTING TRIBUTE
Your tax deductible contribution to the Wall of Honor will help us, through a managed endowment, to perpetually maintain and renovate the National Patriots Bell Tower and Carillon.
Honor a loved one’s service to our country through this unique and lasting tribute. Your donation of $350 per name for the Wall of Honor will be used to restore and maintain the carillon and tower.
A VETERAN’S MEMORIAL
This is your opportunity to immortalize an American serviceman or woman amid the grounds of Valley Forge National Historical Park and make that person a permanent part of our nation’s history.
The names of all United States Armed Forces personnel, living or dead, retired or on active duty, can be included in this sacred space. Service personnel from all periods from the Revolution to the present are eligible.
The Wall of Honor at the National Patriots Bell Tower of the Washington Memorial Chapel overlooks the Grand Parade where General Washington trained his army. Construction of the atrium was completed in April 2003. Seventy-two cast bronze tablets display the names of men and women who served in the U. S. military. Only 3,000 names will be cast onto 72 bronze tablets. Additional tablets will be cast as names are submitted and funds become available.
